I am inspired by Gothic architecture, medieval forms and bladed weaponry. The use of recurring themes and motifs, continuously flowing through my designs, create a pleasing aesthetic and add interest to these functional and innovative pieces. I am interested in reducing the visual and physical weight and quantity of components to minimise the amount of material and waste whilst retaining traditional construction techniques. I mainly use timber from sustainable sources to reduce the environmental impact.
