Complex patterns and the shapes in Indian Architecture provide the inspiration for a long held interest in the bold application of colour. I design and make work which portrays a colourful, feminine and Asian feel. Working in porcelain, using delicate lace and fabric to texture the surface I create bold decorative pieces. The dazzling colours from the Indian culture are evident in my work as I use them to colour the textured porcelain to give it an exciting and vibrant edge.
