Liam Treanor

I am a furniture designer/maker, inspired by the aesthetics of Modernism to create exciting and innovative, laminated, curved structures. The importance of function, simplicity of form and honesty of construction is clearly stated in my work. Clean lines and proportions, carefully executed, are essential to the aesthetic without compromising functionality. Colour is a fundamental component of my designs, collaborating with the client to create or change a mood or emotion within and around a piece. I intend to produce furniture that will be owned with pride and respected by this generation and beyond.
