Natasha Reidie

I create pieces of jewellery and body sculpture using folded, moulded and sewn handmade paper pieces that are supported by metal frames, predominantly made using silver and copper.
My work is inspired by the intricate details of Edwardian ruffs, the versatility of paper and the idea of supporting this paper using a metal frame.
I find the properties of paper allow for an infinite number of forms when folded, sewn and moulded. It is this that gives my work an exciting edge.
